Polyfoam Australia has aquired Unity Plastics injection moulding facilities.  The purchase of this injection and phenolics moulding business took place on December 19th, 2008.

Polyfoam's Managing Director indicated that this was a strategic decision to enable Polyfoam to expand its injection moulding business, as well as adding value by offering our customers a 'one stop shop' to access our diverse range of products and services,  from vacuum forming to cut foam EPS, our foam film extrusion as well as our top of the range EPS and EPP products.

Manufacturing operations have been relocated from Unity's old headquarters in Richmond, to our Dandenong facility, and the transition was quite seamless, with full operations resuming in January 2009.
